Combination of standard and energy efficient motors
Standard and energy efficient motors are combined in one modular system according to a
simple principle. Based on the standard motor (or IE1), the energy efficient motor
(High Efficiency or IE2) of the same power is realized in a motor that is one stage
larger than the standard motor. An energy efficient motor (Premium Efficiency or IE3)
of the same power is two stages larger.
The efficiency classes of the future
The efficiencies of the energy efficient motors from SEW-EURODRIVE comply with
international limit values and standards, often they even surpass them.
