MOVITOOLS^® MotionStudio

MOVIAXIS^® is operated throughout using the integrated software environment  "MOVITOOLS^® MotionStudio" – one software tool for all tasks. This software studio accommodates ALL functions needed for startup, parameter setting, programming, graphical functionality, diagnostics and service. Project administration and data backup for automation projects can also be carried out using the software. All data and settings need to be entered only once and can be directly used in the program section.

Basic philosophy of the motion control functions of MOVIAXIS^®: Parameter setting instead of programming. Based on this philosophy, the powerful unit functionality is made available to the user in various levels. The graphical and intuitive PDO editor can be used for setting the parameters of all functions of MOVIAXIS^®; various user guided technology editors can be used for standardized tasks, and the parameter tree can be used with very detailed settings. The principle is to have exactly the amount of functionality as required for the application. If MOVIAXIS^® is combined with MOVI-PLC^® controllers, the IEC-61131 program editor / PLC editor is also integrated with libraries matching MOVIAXIS^®.

You can use MOVITOOLS^® MotionStudio to address and operate all electronics products from SEW-EURODRIVE, from the decentralized drive, frequency inverter through to the highly-dynamic servo drive, via various communication channels (CAN, Profibus, Ethernet, etc.). This means horizontal product integration and working with only one software for all products.
