Formula 1 Racing Simulator – "Driven by MOVIAXIS^®"

Formula 1 racing simulator: Programmed and realized in cooperation with the techical college in Bocholt (Gelsenkirchen branch).

Formula 1 stands for dynamics, precision, technology, and enthusiasm. SEW-EURODRIVE has taken the formula 1 race track to the HMI 2007 with the Formula 1 racing simulator.

Tuned down to the smallest detail, the system was programmed and implemented in cooperation with the FH Bocholt and "run in" by an experienced racing driver. This gave customers and visitors the chance to experience real "Formula 1 racing feeling".

Driven by SEW linear motors, the simulator offers an excellent driving experience. The complex and dynamic movements with very smooth curve movements are controlled using MOVIAXIS®, the new multi-axis servo inverter. Everybody at the trade show who experienced the racing simulator was impressed by the race car feeling and acceleration – and by the drive quality of SEW servo systems.
