SEW-EURODRIVE prides itself on its involvement with corporate citizenship.

 

This corporate citizenship proudly includes the Fitzgerald Racing team in the Carrera Cup, Harness Racing Victoria, the Mental Illness Fellowship of Victoria, the Parramatta Eels in the NRL, the Sandringham Football Club in the VFL, the Sanctuary Lakes Foundation, the Collingwood Football Club and Tasman Motorsport in the V8 Supercars.

  • The Sanctuary Lakes Foundation was established to develop, foster and promote sport & the arts within Sanctuary Lakes Resort and the wider community. The Sanctuary Lakes Foundation has assisted:  Young Professional Golfers & Tour Players, Elite Young Amateur Golfers, Young Elite Sportspersons (in a variety of sports), Junior Golf (junior pennant & colts squads as well as introductory clinics & trips) & High School Arts Grant program for the Western Suburbs. 

SEW-EURODRIVE also helps to develop the minds of tomorrow in the sponsorship of university scholarships and competitions.

 

  • SEW-EURODRIVE has also supported a scholarship with the Queensland University of Technology which sponsors a student to experience the inner workings of SEW-EURODRIVE Head Office in Germany - the world leader in mechanical and electronic transmission suppliers. The accepted student receives guided tours through the factories in Bruchsal, Graben and Haguenau. A wonderful experience for any aspiring engineer!
     
  • On 24th August 2006, final year students from RMIT’s departments of Communication, Electronics, Software and Computer Systems Engineering presented their cutting-edge inventions to the public as part of the SEW supported conference, ENGenius. ENGenius, now in its 23rd year, is a professional engineering conference that brings together hundreds of students and industry leaders.
