SEW-EURODRIVE would like to thank all involved for another wonderful year raising funds for the Mental Illness Fellowship of Victoria.
Once again, a record amount was raised. This year we managed to donate over $209,000 to the Mental Illness Fellowship of Victoria - almost fifty thousand dollars more than any other previous year on record. All sponsors, donators and voluteers alike should be commended for their efforts. This is yet again another amazing result which is sure provide fantastic support for countless lives.
This record figure has not just set a standard for years to follow, but has also broken the 1 Million Dollar Mark for funds raised over the 9 years this event has been in activity. SEW-EURODRIVE would like to personally thank each and every individual who has been involved over these 9 years. This is a landmark figure, which has put mental health issues on the map and helped shape and change hundreds, if not thousands of lives in the process.
In the process of raising these urgently needed funds, an enjoyable time was had by all at both the dinner auction and golf day. Supporters enjoyed an evening of entertainment, wining and dining at Moonee Valley on Friday, September 8th for the Charity Dinner Auction. Congratulations must also go out to Sam Godino, Charlie Godino, Dan Lucin and Colin Stephens who took the honours at the annual Charity Golf Day. Well done! The mission is never over. Next year is the 10th annual event, which when coupled with SEW Australia's 25th anniversary, is sure to be a celebration of epic proportions.
