Visitors to the recent QME exhibition in Mackay, Queensland, will have seen SEW exhibiting its range of mining-related products,
specifically large industrial gear units. An impressive look at the largest of the current range of SEW X Series units will
have been seen, rated at 175,000nM. This range is expected to be extended to further, even larger sizes in 2009, providing
a complete range of solutions for the mining industry. Also on show were a selection of MC compact industrial gears, along
with SEW’s range of standard gearmotors and electronics.
Looking ahead, SEW-EURODRIVE will exhibit at the Electrical Maintenance & Safety National Forum, presented by SIRF Roundtables,
September 1 & 2 2008. The forum will be held at Star City in Darling Harbour, Sydney. SEW will be featuring its 24 Hour Emergency
Service capability, along with a range of MEPS compliant DR Motors, and relevant electronic products.
