Digital learning opportunities for MOVI-C®

Our current learning opportunities for the MOVI-C® automation module include 3 learning units. We will, however, be expanding the learning opportunities all the time. These first 3 learning units give you an understanding of the MOVI-C® device family and introduce you to the subject of topologies.

  • Knowing how the MOVIKIT® software modules work in principle.

In this learning unit, you will use a video and E-learning course to learn about the EtherCAT® motion slave topology and CiA402 device profile.

Learning goals:
  • Knowing the main operating principle of the EtherCAT® motion slave topology and the CiA402 device profile.
  • Knowing how to connect MOVIDRIVE® modular and MOVIDRIVE® system to the controller.
  • Knowing which CiA402 products are available from SEW-EURODRIVE and what their applications are.
  • Knowing the difference between EtherCAT® CiA402 and EtherCAT® SBusPLUS devices.
  • Knowing the mode of operation offered by CiA402.
