SEW-EURODRIVE can design and supply a transition base to replace almost any gearbox application. The transition base is designed to match the existing drive's output shaft location and mounting bolt pattern, eliminating the need for site modifications.
A new coupling half can be supplied on the replacement drive output shaft to match the coupling on the application, eliminating the need to remove the existing coupling from the head shaft.
Modern helical and bevel helical gearboxes can replace inefficient worm gear units, providing a highly efficient alternative. X.e Series helical and bevel helical gearboxes are assembled in Australia from locally stocked components, allowing fast turnaround.
The replacement drive can be assembled and delivered ready for installation when the old drive is removed, helping reduce downtime, labour and crane costs.
